    * We arrived back in Uruguay in February and are thankful for the time God gave us back in the U.S. earlier this year.

    * We are coming to the end of the summer here in the southern hemisphere, and are preparing to restart all the ministries and activities that were closed during the season. Please pray for our children as they begin school on March 1st, that God would keep them safe and continue to use their lives to be salt and light to their non-believing classmates.

    * Please pray for Equipping Servants, as we begin meeting on March 13th. Pray for the new students who will be initiating the process, and for students starting their 2nd and 3rd years, that God would continue to draw them closer to himself through the study of His Word, and that He would continue to equip them for Gospel ministry.

    * Finally, please pray for the church plant-that God would continue to give us wisdom and grace as we seek to reopen and expand the youth and small group ministries during these challenging times.

*We are really thankful for the time we were able to spend here at Parkside, refreshing and reconnecting with friends and family. Please pray for our return to Uruguay on February 12th. Earlier this year the country closed its borders not only to tourists but also to citizens and residents. Though the borders are now open to us, the policies are constantly changing and there is risk of being closed out.

*As we return to Uruguay, please pray that God would continue to grant us wisdom and grace to lead the church through these challenging times, and allow us to faithfully serve His people.

*Please pray also for the ESI ministry in Uruguay. We hope to open one or two new groups this year, and are now in the process of finding new participants.

*We are currently in the US on home assignment, reconnecting with the church, friends, and family. We are really thankful for everything God has done with the IBM church plant over the past two years and value your prayer for the team there as they continue to lead the church in our absence.

*Last year, we had our first baptism as a church! Agustín, the young man who got baptized, had a difficult upbringing, and was involved in a number of harmful patterns from an early age. Since coming to faith earlier this year, we have seen God turn his life around, and were very happy when he told us he wanted to be baptized. Please pray that God would continue to mature Agustín in his young faith.

*Please pray for our time in the U.S., that God would allow us to grow as a family, reconnect with friends, and renew strength for our return in February.

*Please pray for the Equipping Servants ministry in 2021. In Uruguay, we specifically focus on students in the 25-35 age group. This year, we would ideally like to open 2 new groups of up to 15 students each. However, we continually find that the hardest part of the process is recruiting new students. Please pray for us as we prapare for this year, that God would continue to guide us, and that He would bring along the students He has prepared to be a part of this process. Plase pray also for our students, that God would use the study of His Word to grow their love for Him and to equip them for future ministry.
