Funeral

Our funeral meals ministry serves grieving families during their time of loss.  Volunteers prepare one part of a meal (cookbook provided) on short notice and bring it to the church or help serve the meal following a funeral or memorial service. This usually takes place here at Parkside Church. This team usually serves about 8-10 times a year.

Help for the Bereaved

This ministry provides a meal for up to 75 people after a funeral service.  This service is free to all Parkside members and friends when members of their family die who are not involved in another church.

The Process

This ministry does not involve a regularly scheduled block of time.  The commitment varies with the need but on average, a person is called upon to serve once every 4-8 weeks.  As a member of this ministry you may volunteer to:
1) Prepare a dish and drop it off or
2) Serve a meal on a buffet line

Please contact Kim Jones at email if you are interested in serving on this team.
