    Stand In for Homeless Children

    Location: Public Square, Cleveland
    Start Time: Sat 29, June 2019, 4 p.m.
    End Time: Sat 29, June 2019, 7 p.m.

SEE: There are about 3,000 school-age children experiencing homelessness so far this year in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. They're threatened by a cycle of poverty that leaves them stigmatized and struggling for normalcy – with little hope of escape. Right now, it’s imperative that the Church has eyes to see this crisis.

STAND: Members from every church in greater Cleveland are invited to stand in Public Square on Saturday June 29th to represent each homeless student in our city. And we won’t simply be raising awareness – we’ll be transforming awareness into action.

SERVE: Join The City Mission and serve your young, hurting neighbors by participating on June 29th and in the days to follow. This event will include live worship, prayer, food trucks, activities for families, and more! There is no cost to attend.

    Schedule of Events:

4-5:30 Family Friendly Activities, Engagement with Community Partners, Food Trucks, Entertainment

    5:30-6 Guest Speakers

6-6:30 Gather for Stand In & Stand In Moment

    6:30-7 Devotional Message & Worship

Pastor Jawanza Colvin of Olivet Institutional Baptist Church & Pastor Jonathan Schaeffer of Grace Church Middleburg Heights will be sharing a pastoral challenge about joining God in His pursuit of these nearly 3,000 children.
