United in Love and Prepared for Peace
The early Christians who received Peter's first letter lived amid an unbelieving society, much as we do today. Verses 8-17 of the third chapter explain how believers are to relate to each other and to those outside the body of Christ. In this message we explore the unity that develops among those who know Jesus, and the countercultural attitudes that differentiate us from those who don't - attitudes that may lead us through suffering, but in the end yield a fulfilling life that pleases God.
