Joy in Trials Through Wisdom

Evening Service
Jan 25, 2015

The Book of James begins with the frank acknowledgment that life is difficult: as Christians, we will always face trying circumstances and our own inward temptations to sin. With concern for the people under his care, though, James does not stop by stating this fact.  This message from James 1 reminds us that difficulty tests the genuineness of our faith in order to produce spiritual maturity.  As we seek God's wisdom by knowing and obeying the Lord Jesus, God enables us to know genuine joy even in the experience of difficulty.

James 1:1-4
