Sorrow & Sacrifice

Evening Service
Aug 6, 2017

Because he felt sorrow for his fellow Jews who had rejected Christ, Paul sacrificed greatly to preach the Gospel to them. Evangelism is rarely easy, but it should be a natural consequence of our love for those who are under God’s wrath. When we, like Paul, understand the eternal implications of separation from God, then we will long to see our unbelieving friends and neighbors put their trust in Christ, risking our comfort, reputations, and lives to share the hope and security found only in Him.
