A Picture of a Biblical Church

Morning Service
Feb 5, 2017

Writing to the believers in Thessalonica, Paul expressed a picture of what it looks like to be a biblical church. The teaching of God’s Word followed by the conviction and power of the Holy Spirit caused the Thessalonians share the Gospel. In this sermon we learn that when God’s Word is preached and taken to heart, the result is an outward change of behavior and a desire to tell others about Christ. Proclaiming the truth of Scripture is not easy and often brings opposition, but it is a indication of God at work in the lives of individuals and churches alike.
