Patterns and Principles of Prayer

Morning Service
Nov 11, 2018

Scripture exhorts us to pray without ceasing, but how do we avoid falling into dull patterns of memorized scripts and lifeless lists of requests? When asked by his disciples to teach them to pray, Jesus established a framework to shape all of our prayers. Examining the Lord’s prayer, we discover principles that guide us to deeper intimacy with the Father. By first reflecting on God’s worth and praying for His work, we learn to trust and treasure Him above all.

Luke 11:1-13
