Misuse of Money

Evening Service
Apr 19, 2015

Wealth is not inherently bad, but when love of possessions displaces God, the wealthy face judgment. According to James 5:1-6, selfish accumulation of wealth leads to fraud, self-indulgence, and ultimately, sin against those who are most in need of generosity. The antidote? Hoping in God, rather than possessions, produces a lifestyle marked by generosity and service in obedience to the Gospel.

James 5:1-6
