A Call For Thankfulness
It's not uncommon to hear people challenge themselves to "be more thankful." For the Christian, a grateful heart is a good measure of the work of grace in our hearts. Thankfulness doesn't begin and end with our circumstances, however. Because the experience of God's grace produces thankfulness that is grounded in the character of God, Christian gratitude doesn't depend on the good things that we have or lack, and the Christian can give thanks in all things.
