    • Pray for the ESI-DisciplesMakingDisciples groups that started meeting by ZOOM in Cordoba and Buenos Aires, Argentina (4 groups) and in Guatemala (3 groups). Pray that the Lord will transform lives as these pastors and church leaders study Romans- to become gospel-centered in their thinking, passionate about Jesus in their living, and committed that no one should live or die without having the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus.

    • In mid-March the Bolivian government issued a shelter-in-place order to avoid the spread of COVID-19. We are allowed to leave our apartment on only Monday mornings, and only to purchase food. Forced to not meet as a church, we meet online. In addition, we were forced to delay the launch of the ESI Facilitator training in Spanish in Virginia; and in Portuguese in Mozambique.

  • James February 2020 Update

    Hello from Bolivia!

We trust you are well. Thank you so much for praying for us and our ministry here in Bolivia and beyond.

Here is our February Update -- a few prayer points:

    1. The social and political situation in Bolivia has been calm since December. Things were extremely tense in November after the October election fraud was discovered and Evo's subsequent exit from Bolivia. The Lord gave us opportunities to share the gospel with many people during those weeks -- there has been an unusual openness among people in the Southern Part of La Paz to hear the gospel -- where the ILC Church has been laboring to reach with the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1990. The date set for the new presidential elections is May 3. Please pray for peace and continued openness to the gospel.
