Marriage Matters Small Group Spring 2016

A new six-week session of our Marriage Matters small group will begin on Tuesday April 12. Facilitators will lead couples through the book titled “What Did You Expect?” by Paul Tripp. Each session will be held in Room A207, 6:30-8:30pm. Cost is $45 per couple or $30 per individual. How People Change/Helping Others Change Winter 2016 Workshops

Change in any situation is difficult, and yet God’s Word has so much to say about change. One of the reasons change can be so difficult is that life’s ups and downs cloud out our ability to see the goodness and mercy of God which comes to us expressly during those times. What if the ups and downs of life were actually graces from God to make us more like His Son?

Join us for two Saturday workshops, How People Change and Helping Others Change. Over the course of the two days, we will study the intricacies of the human heart and see the beauty of the gospel and occupation with Christ that transforms daily life in a real and tangible way. In-depth biblical discipleship is about relationships, with God and with others.

Domestic Violence Seminar

On May 9, anyone is invited to attend a special, half-day seminar on domestic violence. Author Justin Holcomb who has written several books on the topic of domestic and sexual abuse will be helping us think through this difficult and complex issue. The seminar will be held at Leroy Community Chapel from 8:30am-Noon. The event is free, but space is limited so please RSVP here.

ISI Meeting 2.21.15 Postponed

Thank you all for your understanding regarding last week's cancellation due to weather. Several have inquired as to this Saturday's rescheduled meeting. The forecast calls for 3-5“ of snow with the brunt of it coming down around 8am-12pm. With all that being considered, we will NOT have ISI this Saturday, but please know we will endeavor to schedule another meeting before the next round of “How People Change” begins in March.
